1. Program Mission:
To provide distinguished education and training in the English language, develop students’ linguistic, literary,
research, and critical thinking skills, enhance the research productivity of faculty members, and encourage community
service in ways that contribute to professional success and meet the needs of the labor market.
2. Program Goals:
1. To develop students’ linguistic and literary skills.
2. To utilize students’ acquired cognitive skills in interacting with the surrounding environment.
3. To prepare qualified specialists in the English language to fill various positions required by the labor market.
4. To develop students’ critical thinking and analytical skills through the study of a wide range of
literary genres, periods, and movements, and through the analysis of diverse cultural perspectives.
5. To enhance the research productivity of faculty members and develop
students’ research skills to enable them to pursue their postgraduate studies.
6. To provide community services to the local community outside Najran University.
