null Enhancing Employability Through Specialized Translation Skills: Legal, Medical, and Technical Domains

In today’s globalized world, specialized translation has become

increasingly important as companies and institutions strive to

overcome linguistic and cultural barriers. In this context, Dr. Muneera

Yahya, in coordination with the Alumni Unit, graciously

delivered a workshop titled “Enhancing Employability through

Specialized Translation Skills: Legal, Medical, and

Technical Fields” yesterday, Monday, 4 Sha’ban 1446 AH, at the college auditorium.

In the workshop, she discussed how specialized translation

goes beyond general language skills, requiring in-depth

knowledge of specific fields such as legal, medical, and

technical domains. She emphasized that translation

should not only be accurate but also

technically and culturally appropriate.

The workshop concluded by encouraging attendees

to develop their specialized translation skills and seize

available opportunities in the legal, medical, and

technical fields, as the role of translators has become more important than ever.
